Crystal Palace have recalled winger Sullay Kaikai from his loan spell at League One side Shrewsbury, as confirmed by Sky Sports.
The 20-year-old had agreed to a deal that would keep him with Micky Mellon’s side until mid-January, but there was a 24-hour release clause put in the terms of the deal, and the Eagles chose to use it to bring Kaikai back to Selhurst Park.
The Shrews will be disappointed to lose such a versatile player early after he’d become a mainstay in their side.

He made 14 league appearances during his spell in League One, and he managed to score five goals during his time there.
As of yet, no reason has been provided for why Alan Pardew and company decided to recall Kaikai, although it could be to provide cover during an upcoming busy spell, where Palace play six games in 22 days between Boxing Day and January 16th.
