It’s that time again!

With the end of the transfer window on the horizon, yet another striker has been linked with a possible move to Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace have made it clear that they are in the market for a forward.

Emmanuel Adebayor‘s name keeps coming up after Alan Pardew admitted that the club were considering a deal for him, whilst just yesterday it was reported that Senegalese international striker Moussa Sow had been identified as a target for the Eagles.

Today, a new name has been reported by the press, this time the Daily Mail. They are reporting that Palace have expressed an interest in signing Bafetimbi Gomis from Swansea City.

Whilst the Swans wouldn’t be keen to let their striker leave as they look to fight off the threat of relegation, the 30-year-old has a £7million release clause in his contract, and Palace might see that as a reasonable price for a player who has proven that he can score goals in the Premier League.
