Crystal Palace are one of three Premier League sides interested in signing striker Martin Braithwaite from Toulouse, according to a report from Simon Jones of the Daily Mail.
As reported by Jones, the Eagles as well as Sunderland, West Ham and Championship side Hull City are all keeping tabs on the Danish international as he is yet to sign a new deal with the French side and his contract expires in the summer of 2017.
If he hasn’t signed an extension by the summer, Toulouse could sell him for around £4million as they would not want to risk losing him on a free.
Braithwaite, who has 12 caps for Denmark, recently admitted that he would like to make a move to England, so it’ll be interesting to see which side he does end up joining.
Crystal Palace are said to be in the market for a striker in the summer, which may indicate possible sales of Fraizer Campbell and Dwight Gayle and with a decision needing to be made regarding the future of Emmanuel Adebayor, it makes sense for the Eagles to be looking at forwards.
