Crystal Palace are expected to be without midfielder Miles Jedinak for their upcoming game with West Ham United due to him suffering a thigh strain on international duty, the Evening Standard reports.

Jedinak suffered his thigh strain whilst playing for his country, Australia, against Tajikistan on Thursday and was ruled out of the Socceroos game against Jordan on Tuesday. Australia won the match 5-1 in Jedinak’s absence.

Jedinak joins James McArthur as midfielders Eagles boss Alan Pardew is without, which could give the Englishman a selection headache.

Emmanuel Adebayor has changed his mind about rejecting a call-up from Togo in order to focus on his club, as he has jetted off with his country for their upcoming fixture against Tunisia.

Palace have slid down the table to 16th in recent weeks, having failed to record a league win in 2016. They currently sit only seven points above 18th placed Sunderland, and have become unlikely candidates for relegation.
