Crystal Palace are in the market for new strikers, and according to the Daily Mail, these could take the form of Cedric Bakambu or Khouma Babacar.
Connor Wickham’s injury record means he cannot be relied upon as the main striker and Palace will be looking to improve on their 15th place finish in the Premier League this season.

With 39 goals this season, drawing them level at third lowest for a Premier League team, the arrival of either Fiorentina’s Babacar or Villareal’s Bakambu could help bump that number up a fair bit.
Bakambu was sensational for Villareal last season; the lightning fast Congolese international bagged an impressive 25 goals across all competitions for the Europa League semi-finalists; finishing the tournament as its second highest goal scorer.
Khouma Babacar has been less impressive, with only seven goals and one assist to his name, but at the age of 23 he has a bit more time on his side.

With the new Premier League money, it might not even be a stretch to suggest Palace replacing both Emmanuel Adebayor and Marouane Chamakh with these two strikers. With the departing duo having a combined age of 64 years old, it might be time for some young blood to come into Alan Pardew’s squad.
