Palace linked with move for free agent defender
Crystal Palace are apparently one of the three Premier League clubs who are interested in signing defender Eyong Enoh on a free transfer.
As reported by the Croydon Advertiser, Everton and Hull City are also looking at the Cameroon international as his two-year deal with Belgian side Standard Liege expires at the end of the month.
Brede Hangeland, Adrian Mariappa, and Paddy McCarthy are all being allowed to leave Selhurst Park this summer, so Alan Pardew needs to bring in some centre-backs to provide competition and/or cover for Damien Delaney and Scott Dann.
Enoh has played in the Premier League before and is familiar with the London area having spent a short spell on loan with Fulham during the 2012/13 season.
If Pardew does like the player and fancies bringing him in, he’ll need to beat off apparent interest from Ronald Koeman at Everton and Steve Bruce at Hull City.
