Doncaster wait on Anderson Loan
Darren Ferguson’s side are being made to wait on a possible loan of Keshi Anderson as he continues to recover from an injury.
The 21-year-old isn’t back in full training with the Eagles yet after suffering from ankle ligament damage caused by a dislocation whilst on loan at Doncaster last November.
Anderson impressed during his loan spell at the club, which has seen interest grow in his services, with League One and Two teams monitoring his progress to get back to fitness ahead of the new season.
These clubs may have to wait until January however, as the young attacker may not be back to full fitness until after the transfer window closes, which is the only point in which teams this season can make loans with changes seeing the loan window scrapped.
Speaking at the bi-annual Meet The Owners event, Doncaster manager Ferguson said: “We’re not close to anything with Keshi. The boy is still injured and is not anywhere near the level he needs to be at.
“We’ve had contact with Palace and their manager but percentage wise, I’d say it’s quite low for Keshi to be coming back.
“That’s a combination of things. I know there’s one or two League One clubs in for him.
“Unfortunately that’s one of the prices you have to pay when going down to League Two.”

At Doncaster last season, Anderson made 9 appearances and scored on three occasions in the league, with the youngster also playing in the FA Cup and the Football League Trophy.
Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin has also spoke to the Doncaster Free Press about Anderson, explaining that they are in contact with Palace most days about his progress.
“Keshi is one that has been mentioned quite a lot,” Baldwin said.
“We’re talking to Crystal Palace a lot because Keshi, at the minute, is not in full training.
“That is one to watch, seeing how his fitness goes.
“It could be one that has to wait until January, or he could be fit in August.
“We’re literally talking every other day to Palace.”
