Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough are both eyeing late-summer moves for Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar say Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Calcionews24).
Alan Pardew has already welcomed Christian Benteke to the club from Liverpool in a club-record £32m deal but wants to recruit one more striker into his squad before the end of the month.
Chelsea’s Loic Remy is one player they’re looking at but they face competition from West Ham and Besiktas for the French international.

As a result, Palace have to line up alternative targets, one of whom is Khouma Babacar who has also been linked with West Ham and Everton.
The 27-year-old striker netted 7 times in 24 appearances for the Serie A club last season and has 20 goals in 79 appearances for the club he’s been with for his entire career, but Fiorentina are now willing to sell Babacar for just €15m.
La Viola were disappointed with his performances last season and are eager to sell him.
