Crystal Palace have agreed a loan deal with Chelsea to sign out-of-favour striker Loic Remy, according to L’Equipe (h/t GFFN).

The Frenchman is now the third-choice striker at Stamford Bridge following the £33m arrival of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille and has been widely tipped to leave Chelsea this summer.
Despite signing Christian Benteke from Liverpool in a club-record £32m move, Alan Pardew still wants to add another striker to his squad before next week’s transfer deadline.
The former Newcastle manager signed Remy on a season-long loan from QPR whilst in charge of the Magpies and is eager to reunite with the former Marseille star.
The loan move for Remy also includes a €12m option to buy him should he impress, which would be a snip if he scores regularly for the Eagles.
