According to Tutto Mercato Web, Crystal Palace have been told that they will have to pay €20m if they want to sign Santos midfielder Lucas Lima.
The report says that Palace have had their first offer rejected, due to it being below the Brazilian club’s demands.
Palace offered a €5m loan fee, with a further €10m option to buy Lima at the end of the season. However, Santos are looking for a deal that culminates in Palace paying €20m for the midfielder.

Chelsea and Porto were reportedly interested in Lima earlier this year, but Palace now appear to be the favourites to land his signature this summer. Although, it all depends on whether they are now willing to meet Santos’ demands and pay €20m for the talented central midfielder.
Alan Pardew is looking to add to his squad before the transfer deadline on Wednesday, with Lima seen as one of his targets.
