Crystal Palace already have a back-up option for Jack Wilshere if he chooses to move elsewhere, according to the Evening Standard.

The site believes that the Eagles are lining up an £8m move for Tomas Rincon if the England International favours a different club.

Arsenal are believed to have received over 20 offers from different clubs enquiring over taking Wilshere on loan for the season.

The Venezuelan captain plays his club football at Genoa and Pardew is looking to end his summer spending with the arrival of a centre midfielder.

This follows Jordan Mutch being set to leave the club on a permanent basis and he will follow the departure of Mile Jedinak. Rincon has been on Palace’s radar for a while along with a host of other clubs across Europe.

If Wilshere or Rincon join the club, they will be the club’s sixth signing after Mandanda, Townsend, Tomkins, Benteke and Remy.
