Predicted XI: West Ham (H)
If you had offered Alan Pardew 8th place through seven games and that his star striker was scoring goals for fun, he would’ve bitten your hand off.
Crystal Palace’s stellar start to the season has been helped by the fact that Christian Benteke has scored in three of his last four Premier League games – not to mention he scored the fastest ever goal in World Cup qualifying history for Belgium during the international break.
Next up for the Eagles is a reeling West Ham side who haven’t won in five Premier League games, losing four in a row before earning a draw against Middlesbrough last time out.
This will be a big match for Palace defender James Tomkins, who spent his entire career at West Ham before making the move to Selhurst Park earlier in the summer.
West Ham have won the last two games between the two sides at Selhurst Park, but Crystal Palace have the form going into this one.
With that in mind, here’s our predicted XI for Saturday’s game.
