Last Wednesday was one of the darkest days in Croydon after a morning rush-hour tram derailed at Sandilands, leaving 51 people injured and seven people dead, including two Palace fans.
19-year-old Dane Chinnery was one of the first people to be named as one of those that lost their life as a result of the crash with 57-year-old Philip Seary being named a couple of days afterwards – both of them being Palace fans.

A minute’s silence will be held before the game at Selhurst Park against Manchester City on Saturday, as well as the players wearing black armbands to remember those who lost their lives in the tram derailment.
As well as the minute’s silence that has been arranged by the club, fans have come together from Crystal Palace fan group ‘Palace Till I Die’ to create banners which will be held up by the Holmesdale Fanatics during the minute’s silence as well as respectively in the 19th and 57th minute.
