Crystal Palace have joined fellow Premier League strugglers Sunderland and Swansea City in the race to sign FC Porto striker Moussa Marega, according to reports (via insidefutbol).
The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Vitoria Guimaraes, another side in Portugal’s top division, where he has been in impressive form, scoring 10 goals in 15 league games this season.
According to reports, Palace, Sunderland and Swansea have all held initial talks with Porto about the possibility of signing the striker, but no official bids have yet been made.

The player has already turned down the chance to move to the Chinese Super League and insists that he’ll only leave Portugal to join a club based in England, Germany or Spain.
One potential speed bump on the road to any move for Marega is that he is currently away on international duty. The striker is with the Mali squad as they prepare to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations, so if any deal is to be done, the Malian FA will need to grant permission for the player to hold talks and take a medical.
