Crystal Palace have had a £10 million bid rejected for Spanish and Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra.
According to the London Evening Standard, Allardyce has targeted the midfielder, but the Spaniard is considered ‘a major part’ of the Sevilla midfield.
Iborra had been linked with a summer exit from Sevilla, fellow Premier League strugglers Sunderland were interested in signing the player.
The two clubs had agreed a £7 million deal but the move fell through after they failed to agree on personal terms.

The 29-year-old has been at Sevilla since 2013 and the club are enjoying a strong campaign, sitting second in the La Liga table.
With Sevilla only point behind leaders Real Madrid, Allardyce may find it hard to swap a title bid for a relegation fight in England. Sunderland currently sit 17th in the Premier League, level on points with Hull in the relegation zone.
The club recently ended Madrid’s 40-game unbeaten run with a dramatic 2-1 win.
