Crystal Palace target loan move for Leipzig’s Burke
Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough are considering a loan move for RB Leipzig midfielder, Oliver Burke.
As reported by the Daily Record, both of the Premier League sides want to bring in the Scottish international who is failing to hold down a regular first-team spot in the Bundesliga.
The player’s agent has made clubs aware of the possibility that his client could be available temporarily in the January transfer window.
Burke joined the controversial German outfit in the summer from Nottingham Forest and the Bundesliga newcomers are battling Bayern Munich in the race to win the Bundesliga.
Leipzig currently sit three points behind Carlo Ancelotti’s side who sit top of the German top flight.
Burke has made 14 appearances this season but only one of those has been starts. The 19-year-old has also scored just one goal this season.
Middlesbrough see the Scottish winger as a possible replacement for Gaston Ramirez, who is being linked with a move to Leicester.
