Crystal Palace are set to complete the signing of Sunderland full-back Patrick van Aanholt, after an initial fee of £9m has been agreed between the two clubs.
The Telegraph reports that van Anholt will have a medical at the club ahead of a proposed move, which would see manager Sam Allardyce complete his second signing at the club, following the arrival of Jeffery Schlupp from Leicester City.

Allardyce worked with the full-back during his time at Sunderland, in which he guided the club to safety from the relegation zone, of which they were flirting with for the majority of the season.
The 26-year-old has been at the Stadium of Light since 2014, after joining from Chelsea, where he was sent out on numerous loan spells during his time at the club, including at Coventry, Newcastle and Leicester City.
Palace are looking to close in another couple of signings ahead of the transfer window closing at the end of the month, with the club being linked with move for Ibrahim Amadou, to fill in the defensive midfield position.
