Sam Allardyce didn’t waste any time identifying and recruiting players to Selhurst Park during the January transfer window.

Three players joined Crystal Palace last month in Jeffrey Schlupp, Patrick van Aanholt and Luka Milivojevic for roughly a combined £30m to help aid the Eagles’ survival bid, but Allardyce already has his eyes on summer recruits.

According to Italian source Calciomercato, Palace along with fellow Premier League outfit Watford are considering a summer swoop for £17m-rated Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina.

The Gambian midfielder came through the ranks with Ligue 1 side Lorient before making a £3.4m to Marseille in the summer of 2013.

After two impressive years at the Stade Velodrome, Juventus came in for Lemina when Marseille were under financial stress and took the 23-year-old on a year’s loan prior to a £8m permanent transfer last summer.

Lemina has made just 29 appearances for Juventus since his move 18 months ago and could be allowed to leave in the summer if his £17m valuation is met, with Palace amongst potential suitors.
