Palace duo celebrate safety with the fans
Sunday was a big day for Crystal Palace and it was one that brought a lot of relief to the whole of the Eagles’ faithful.
Sam Allardyce led his men to safety with one game remaining of the 2016/17 campaign still to play, as Palace handed Hull City a 4-0 drubbing in the final home game at Selhurst Park this season, subsequently seeing Marco Silva’s side have their relegation confirmed.
Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Luka Milivojevic and Patrick van Aanholt all scored to secure Palace’s Premier League status ahead of next season, and some members of the squad decided to celebrate with the fans.
