Palace will be forced to pay £30m to sign Sakho
Crystal Palace will be forced to part with £30 million if they want to sign Mamadou Sakho permanently this summer.
According to a report from the Guardian, the French defender is a summer transfer target for Crystal Palace, where he has spent the second half of the season on loan, but the price tag could put Sam Allardyce off a permanent deal.
Liverpool are aware of the funds that Palace have available after selling Yannick Bolasie to Everton during the summer and could hold out for £30 million.
Sakho has impressed during his brief stay in London which sparked talk of whether or not he could win over Jurgen Klopp and work his way back into the German’s plans.
It’s now looking increasingly likely that the defender has played his final game for Liverpool with the Reds already identifying where they can potentially spend the money.
Michael Keane and Virgil van Dijk have both been linked with moves to Anfield in recent weeks but moves for the duo could depend on what happens to Sakho.
