Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for Burnley striker Ashley Barnes, according to a report from ESPN FC.
The 27-year-old has scored six goals in 27 games this season, including a brace against the Eagles, and it looks like Sam Allardyce is considering making a bid to bring him to Selhurst Park.
The striker has two years left on his contract at Burnley and Sean Dyche is keen to keep him at Turf Moor but if Palace make a bid, there is every chance that the Clarets could cash in.
Newly promoted Newcastle United are also looking at the striker as they plan for life back in the Premier League and their manager Rafa Benitez has already admitted that he wants to add players with top-flight experience to his squad.
Logic Remy’s move to Palace has been a failure so the club will need to bring in another forward to ease the burden on Christian Benteke.
