Loftus-Cheek joins Crystal Palace as their first signing this summer under new manager Frank De Boer.
The youngster joins Palace after not getting much game time at Chelsea and the imminent arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco looks set to move Loftus-Cheek further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
A move to another Premier League club for a year would be good to help his development as he will get very regular game time at Selhurst Park in the 2017/18 campaign and he will add a lot to Palace’s midfield as they look for more creativity.
This is a great move for Palace as they will be gaining a great player for all of the 2017/18 season as they work towards improving their performances and style of football under new man Frank De Boer.
