Crystal Palace had been linked with a rather audacious swoop for Robin van Persie only recently, and it looks as though they are maintaining an interest in landing him.
According to Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones, Palace are keen to land the experienced Dutchman, but could be priced out of a move.

Van Persie knows the Premier League inside out from his highly successful stints with both Arsenal and Manchester United, and it looks as though Palace want to bring him back to England near the tail-end of his career.
The former Netherlands international turns 34 this month, but with Frank de Boer taking the reins at Selhurst Park, a move could be attractive for the player.
Palace are somewhat light up top, with Christian Benteke holding the most responsibility in the attacking ranks.
