Crystal Palace are looking for a goalkeeper this summer, and according to the Daily Mail, PSV shot stopper Jeroen Zoet has emerged as a target.
It’s stated that Palace are holding a keen interest in landing Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cilessen this summer, but Zoet is listed as one name under consideration.
Both aforementioned ‘keepers have plied their trade in the Eredivisie, so Frank de Boer will have a good knowledge of what they have to offer.
In recent times, Palace offloaded France international Steve Mandanda to Marseille, and will now be keen on bolstering their choices between the sticks as De Boer hunts for competition to Wayne Hennessey.
Zoet would be an interesting long-term option for Palace, given that he has an abundance of experience and quality at just 26. He’s featured in European competition before and has sporadically played for Netherlands’ national side.
Palace are on the verge of sealing a deal for Zoet’s compatriot Jairo Riedewald from Ajax, too.
