Leipzig to demand €18m for Burke
Crystal Palace are reportedly keen to sign Oliver Burke from RB Leipzig this summer, but will have to cough up a fee of €18m to land him, according to claims in Germany.
It’s claimed today by Bild that Burke is set to be offloaded by the Bundesliga outfit this summer, as long as their valuation is met accordingly.
A move back to England is looking likely for the Scottish winger, who hasn’t lived up to expectations over in Germany. He showed signs of quality at Nottingham Forest but hasn’t convinced during his time with Leipzig, with his tactical intelligence often coming under question.
Burke is a Scotland international and having fallen out of favour with Leipzig under Ralph Hasenhuttl, he could be open to a move back to England as he looks to revitalise himself.
It’s stated by Bild that Crystal Palace are leading the race to sign him, and are the favourites for his signature.
