Palace in line to play midweek friendly against Bromley
Crystal Palace will take part in a friendly this week as they look to build up their confidence as a team, according to the Mirror.
The Eagles have endured a simply atrocious start to the Premier League season. Frank de Boer was given his marching orders after four consecutive defeats, which saw Roy Hodgson take the reins.
Hodgson has since lost his first two games in charge, to Southampton and Manchester City respectively, and the fixture list doesn’t appear to be presenting much improvement to Palace. They face Manchester United and Chelsea next – two teams in excellent form.
So, it looks as though Hodgson will look to a friendly against National League outfit Bromley this week to boost his side’s mood ahead of the clash against United.
Palace remain rock bottom of the Premier League following a woeful start to the campaign, in which they are still yet to score a single goal.
