Hodgson keen on Jack Wilshere
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is keen on signing Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.
According to The Telegraph, Hodgson is interested in bringing Wilshere across London to Palace in January.
The report claims that Wilshere is worried about his game-time and could be open to the idea of joining relegation threatened Palace.
The club are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League after 11 games. They have amassed four points, one win and one draw.
Palace have only scored four goals in 11 games and Hodgson believes Wilshere could add the creative spark in midfield that is missing from their side.
Wilshere is seeking game-time in order to force his way into England’s squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia next summer.
Jack Cork – of Burnley – and Jake Livermore – of West Brom – were both called up ahead of him after a spate of injuries to England’s first-choice midfielders.
