Roy Hodgson’s men picked up a vital three points against a resurgent Leicester City side at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Christian Benteke, Wilfried Zaha and Bakary Sako gave Palace all three points that pulls them away from the bottom three temporarily.
The victory continued Palace’s good run of form and they’re now unbeaten in their last seven games in the Premier League.
Here is how we rated each player’s performance after the full-time whistle.
Julian Speroni - 6
He was probably expecting to be busier than he was, Leicester didn’t do a lot to trouble him.
Martin Kelly - 7
Kelly looked assured at right-back as he came back into the side.
James Tomkins - 7
Tomkins, like Kelly, looked assured at the back as he put in a strong performance.
Scott Dann - 7
Another solid defensive performance and a clean sheet will be equally as pleasing for Hodgson.
Jeffrey Schlupp - 6
Schlupp was back at his former side and he didn’t have his greatest of games, but he got the job done.
Yohan Cabaye - 7
Was forced to do a lot of dirty work in the midfield but his effort paid off.
James McArthur - 7
The Scot worked well alongside Cabaye the pair gave Palace’s forward players the freedom to get forward.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek - 6
The Chelsea youngster got forward well but often his ball was lacking slightly.
Andros Townsend - 7
The former Spurs man did brilliantly to set up Benteke in the first half.
Wilfried Zaha - 7
Like Townsend, Zaha was a constant threat and the Foxes struggled to cope with the Ivorian international.
Christian Benteke - 7
The Belgian striker will be delighted to get off the mark for the season. He’ll be desperate to kick on and make up for lost time.
Subs:
Jairo Riedewald – 5, came on in the final minutes but didn’t have a lot do.
Bakary Sako – 7, Did brilliantly to kill the game with the third and final goal.
