Crystal Palace face another tough test this weekend in the Premier League when league leaders Manchester City come to Selhurst Park as Palace look to end the year outside of the bottom three.
Palace fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat to Arsenal on Thursday night a game which they performed well in but, they will really need to be at their best if they are to claim anything from this one.
Pep Guardiola’s side are running away with the league at present and will provide a very stern test for the Eagles in their final encounter of 2017.
Palace currently sit in 16th place just a point of the relegation place and if the truth is told anything which they are able to pick up in this match would be a real bonus for Roy Hodgson’s men.
Here is who we think will line up for Crystal Palace on New Years Eve.
Julian Speroni
He appears to have won back the starting berth under Roy Hodgson and he’ll start.
Jeffery Schlupp
He has been a regular at left-back for much of the season and I expect this to continue against the league leaders.
Martin Kelly
With Joel Ward still out injured the former Liverpool man will start.
Scott Dann
The Palace skipper is vital for his side and will start this one.
Yohan Cabaye
After being withdrawn early against Arsenal the Frenchman will be ready to start.
Luka Milivojevic
The midfielder has been vital for Palace this season and he will retain his start against City.
Andros Townsend
Following from a goal and assist against Arsenal, Townsend will start this one in the number 10 role.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
The Chelsea loanee has looking impressive his late and will start this one.
Wilfred Zaha
Zaha is Palace’s best player and is pivotal to the way the play and will defiantly start this game.
Christian Benteke
The Belgium was very isolated against Arsenal but I expect him to start against the league leaders.
