Crystal Palace will join Everton, West Ham and Southampton in the race to sign Atletico Madrid winger Nicolas Gaitan.
AS report that all three sides that will challenge the Eagles in their pursuit of the player who is valued at around £13 million.
The 29-year-old is desperate for more regular first-team football as he looks to make the Argentine national squad for the upcoming World Cup in Russia.
Atletico’s transfer ban is up in January and they’ll register the signings of Diego Costa and Vitolo in the new year, with reports suggesting that they need to clear space in the squad.
Gaitan, who joined from Benfica in 2016, has failed to nail down a starting spot in La Liga and has started more than half of his games from the bench.
Turkish side Fenerbahce are also thought to be interested, however, regular first-team football in the Premier League is likely to be a better option for Gaitan if he is to make the World Cup in the summer.
