Crystal Palace have reportedly made an audacious attempt to land Inter Milan striker Eder.
According to reports in Italy (via talkSPORT), the Eagles want to secure the services of the forward this month as they aim to bolster their attacking reinforcements.
Eder is an established international player for Italy but has seen his progress come to a standstill at Inter. He is not a favoured option under Luciano Spalletti and a move away from the San Siro in January does not appear to be beyond the realms of possibility.

Corriere dello Sport claim that Palace have lodged a bid worth £9.75 million for Eder, with Roy Hodgson keen to secure a new striker this month.
Fiorentina’s Khouma Babacar is another target for Palace, but he is not set to come cheaply given his position at the Serie A side. 31-year-old Eder, though, appears to be an alternative option.
Christian Benteke is Palace’s only senior option up front and Hodgson will look to add quality and depth to the ranks in the final stretch of the transfer window.
