Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Preston North End striker Jordan Hugill this week.
According to BBC Sport, Palace are yet to agree a fee for Hugill, but are working to get a deal done this week.
The transfer window closes on Wednesday night and Palace are looking to further strengthen their attacking options for the second half of the season.
Roy Hodgson wants to add another striker to his squad and sees Hugill as the ideal target.

The forward has scored ten goals for Preston in all competitions this season, with eight Championship strikes to his name.
Hugill scored 13 goals in 47 games for Preston last season, attracting interest from a number of clubs last summer.
The 25-year-old’s contract expires in 2020, with Preston under no pressure to sell their star man at the end of the transfer window.
Christian Benteke has been misfiring for Palace this season, with Hugill potentially coming in to lighten the load on the Belgian.
