Crystal Palace face the long trip to Everton this weekend as they look to add further ground between them and the bottom three.
Palace currently lie in 14th place in the table, just three points above 18th placed Stoke City.
Roy Hodgson’s side have improved as of late, collecting eight points from their last five matches in the Premier League, which has brought confidence to the players and management at the club.
They are without a whole host of players who are sidelined with injuries at the moment, with as many as nine of the current first team unavailable for this weekend’s trip to Goodison Park.
Hodgson’s side have become more solid defensively in recent games and will provide a tough test for an inconsistent Everton side this weekend who have won just one of their last five league matches.
Here’s how we think Palace will line-up.
GK - Wayne Hennessey
The Welshman has been performing well of late and should keep his place in the side for this one.
LB - Patrick Van Aanholt
He is been steady since coming into the team and should retain his place.
CB - James Tomkins
He has been a consistent player for Palace this season and has to start.
CB - Mamadou Sakho
Has recently returned from injury and should come back into the side.
RB - Timothy Fosu-Mensah
The Manchester United loanee has played a key role in recent weeks and will keep his place at right back.
CM - Luka Milivojevic
Been incredibly consistent so far this term contributing with goals as well and will start.
CM - Yohan Cabaye
The Frenchman is a class act and will start this encounter.
CM - James McArthur
Being a key spine of this side and will retain his start in the Palace midfield
RW - Andros Townsend
A key player for the Eagles and will keep his place this week.
LW - Lee Chung-Yong
The South Korea international should come in the absence of Wilfred Zaha.
ST - Christian Benteke
The Belgian has looked much better in recent weeks and deserves to start.
