Crystal Palace forward Andros Townsend claims the club will look to use the intensity of the Selhurst Park atmosphere to force an upset when Liverpool face them on Saturday.
The former Tottenham and Newcastle wide man says the Eagles are full of confidence ahead of the crunch tie, where a win would lift them five points clear of the relegation zone.
Talking to the club’s official website, Townsend said;
If you ask anyone in the dressing room, it’s a game we know we’re capable of winning, we’re capable of getting points from.
We beat them last season, we narrowly lost to them this season and we know no top team likes coming to Selhurst Park.
I’ll be a great atmosphere and we know that if we play to our potential, like we did against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, we can pull off a shock.
