Crystal Palace have been handed an injury boost with Jeffery Schlupp set to the side earlier than expected.
The left back has been out of action for the last month, but Roy Hodgson has confirmed that the former Leicester City man could be set to return to the Crystal Palace lineup earlier than expected.
Schlupp has been making big strides in his return from his injury.
Saturday’s rival clash with Brighton will come too soon for Schlupp. However, he should be set to return against Watford the week after.
Hodgson said:
He is not too far away from coming back, which will give me another option,” said the boss.
He is closer to the team than we thought he should have been. It was a nasty injury he picked up at Huddersfield, but already he is showing signs of being back on the field.
But it is in the hands of the medical staff.
