Crystal Palace and Celtic are reportedly scouting Queens Park Rangers youngster Ryan Manning, with the two clubs ready to battle it out for the Irishman’s signature, according to Get West London.

It is believed that Manning has been a target of the giants from the East End of Glasgow for some time now, but Roy Hodgson may wish to keep him in the English capital.

The season didn’t start to well for the Irishman, with him coming on as an 89th minute substitute in one game and in his next appearance, being sent off after just four minutes.

However, since early March, Manning has been pretty much an ever-present as Holloway has selected him on the right hand side of midfield.

He scored in an emphatic 4-1 win over Norwich City at Loftus Road and in QPR’s shock 3-1 victory at Aston Villa.

During this time, he has also made two appearances for the Republic of Ireland U21’s in their qualification games for the U21’s European Championships.
