Crystal Palace predicted XI: Watford (A)
Crystal Palace travels to Vicarage Road to face Watford this weekend hoping to carry on the momentum from their 3-2 victory over rivals Brighton.
All five goals came in the first half at Selhurst Park, with Wilfried Zaha scoring either side of a James Tomkins strike.
The result means Palace sit 16th in the Premier League table with four games to play and crucially have six points more than Southampton who occupy the final relegation spot.
Roy Hodgson’s men will be confident of survival, but while they are not mathematically safe they cannot afford to take their foot off the gas.
As for their opponents, Watford are without a win in their last five PL outings, having last won against West Brom at the beginning of March.
Last time out they went down 1-0 to Huddersfield at the John Smith’s stadium, courtesy of a stoppage-time goal from Tom Ince.
Palace won the reverse fixture in December in dramatic style, Bakary Sako’s 89th-minute equaliser setting the stage for James McArthur to score the winner in the second minute of stoppage time.
