Crystal Palace set to revamp Selhurst Park
Crystal Palace have been granted permission for a £100 million revamp of Selhurst Park by Croydon Council, the Mirror reports.
The redevelopment will see the capacity of Selhurst Park raised by 8,000 to 34,000, as well as the development of a five-storey structure to replace the main stand.

The Eagles, who have played at the ground since 1924, are aiming to begin the transformation at the end of next season, with the target being to complete in time for the 2021/22 season.
The application will now be referred to London Mayor Sadiq Khan and they hope his approval will allow the main stand at Selhurst Park to hold 13,500 spectators.
The south London club will be responsible for re-housing residents of the six homes that are due to be demolished as part of the work. They must also commit to strengthening travel facilities for supporters.
Croydon council invited residents to give feedback on the project and received more than 4,000 responses supporting the proposals. 84 objectors listed concerns about traffic congestion and the structure’s suitability to the local area.
