Zaha ‘enjoying’ life at Crystal Palace
Wilfried Zaha has given a big hint that he will stay at Crystal Palace this summer, insisting he is ‘happy’ at the club, as reported by the London Evening Standard.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with the winger and Tottenham Hotspur could come back in with a bid after having two rejected last summer.
The 25-year-old has been Crystal Palace’s standout player over the past two seasons and when he has been injured, the team haven’t picked up a point this season. Speaking about his future, the player praised the club, saying:
Crystal Palace is my home town. The support is genuine support. It is families and kids who love us as players. I do not really see myself anywhere else.
Palace currently sit four points above the relegation zone in 16th but they look likely to be steered towards safety by Zaha, who has scored seven goals this season, including two in last weekend’s 3-2 win over Brighton.
The Ivory Coast international said he is enjoying playing for the Eagles, and just wants to focus on safety:
Obviously I am contracted for four years. I am just enjoying my football at Palace right now. I am happy where I am. All this stuff about us getting relegated, I just want us to be stable.
