Crystal Palace are still expected to sign Vicente Guaita on a free transfer this summer.
Reports in Spain had linked Atletico Madrid to the goalkeeper, but the player remains set to sign for at the end of the season Palace, according to Dominic Fifield.
Guaita is in-demand this summer with his contract with Getafe coming to an end. With concerns over the future of Jan Oblak, Madrid had been linked with the 31-year-old, who could be seen as a viable back-up option too.

Palace’s Wayne Hennessey is also out of contract at the end of the current campaign, meaning they could be in the market for a new shot-stopper this summer.
Roy Hodgson had tried to sign another experienced goalkeeper during the January transfer window but failed in his efforts.
The Eagles will be hoping that Guaita can adapt to the demands of the Premier League quicker than Steve Mandanda, who was hailed as a coup for the club after joining Marseille, only to return to France just months later.
