Tottenham prioritising Zaha move this summer
Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha has been well documented in recent transfer windows and it seems they will be making a fresh move for the winger again this summer.
According to a report from the Telegraph, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will be ‘under pressure’ to land Zaha from Palace as Mauricio Pochettino grows frustrated by his side’s shortcomings in recent times.
Zaha is apparently one of the players near the top of Pochettino’s summer transfer window wish list, with Spurs ready to reignite their interest in the Ivory Coast international.
The former Manchester United winger has been in superb form for the Eagles this season and has been of great importance for Roy Hodgson. In Zaha’s absence, Palace have failed to pick up a single Premier League point.
Tottenham are not the only club keen on Zaha, though, and they could face competition from the likes of Manchester City.
Zaha has often reiterated his commitment to the cause at Selhurst Park and has insisted that he is happy at the club. However, the prospect of Champions League football is surely an exciting one for the impressive winger.
