Crystal Palace have been handed a boost, with striker Connor Wickham making his long-awaited return to first-team training.
The experienced forward has been sidelined for a number of months and will be desperate to make an impact as Palace aim to secure their safety in the Premier League this season.
Wickham made his return to training after a gruelling 17-month absence following an anterior cruciate ligament rupture near the end of 2016.

Palace are now well-stocked with attacking options ahead of the final period of the campaign. Christian Benteke and Alexander Sorloth are both available for selection and, as quoted by Sky Sports, Eagles boss Roy Hodgson confirmed that Wickham is making strong progress.
Connor Wickham trained which is really good news, particularly for Connor, who has been out for such a long time. We don’t really have any injuries amazingly enough after all the injury woes we have been put through this season.
The 25-year-old attacker will be looking to make his return to first-team action this weekend, as Palace lock horns with Claude Puel’s Leicester City side.
Palace are pulling away from the relegation zone but will know that they are not yet safe, with plenty of points to play for.
