Crystal Palace are planning to hold more contract talks in a bid to keep Yohan Cabaye at the club beyond on the end of the season.
Sky Sports report that Palace are keen to keep the Frenchman at Selhurst Park this summer.
Roy Hodgson has confirmed that the club owe it to the player to make an improved contract offer.
He’s one of the players that we owe a debt of gratitude to this season because without them we wouldn’t be where we are.

The former Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has attracted interest from France, with Marseille reportedly keen on the player.
Cabaye has been a key figure in the Palace side since joining the club and the Eagles will be desperate to keep hold of him with interest mounting in Wilfried Zaha too.
Both Luka Milivojevic and Cabaye have provided a solid base for the likes of Zaha to perform in the final third, which has been key to keeping Palace in the top flight.
