# Transfer Update: Wednesday 3rd June

A slow day in what is likely to be a typically slow transfer window. Well, that is, until August 31st when Steve Parish will be worked to the bone and picks up 3 or 4 players.

**Dimitar Berbatov\**

The news that the former Manchester United and Fulham forward had been released by Monaco was announced at noon yesterday. Dimitar has played for three different Premier League clubs (Spurs, Man Utd and Fulham) scoring **94** goals in **229** Premier League games. We put the prospect of Palace signing the thirty four year old to you on Twitter and here are some of your reactions.

And finally…

It would take a brave man to sign Dimitar based on that. Although at least somebody can see a more positive spin on it..

> [@EaglesElement](https://twitter.com/EaglesElement) Think I’d rather see Berbatov than Adebayor as an impact player. He looked real class when he played against us last [#cpfc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/cpfc?src=hash)
