# Norwich 1-3 Crystal Palace – Gallery

Crystal Palace started their 2015/16 Premier League campaign with a 3-1 win against newly promoted Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Alan Pardew’s men took the lead thanks to a Wilfried Zaha volley, and soon doubled their lead after Damien Delaney finished a well-worked set piece.

Nathan Redmond got the hosts back into the game after coming on as a second half substitute, and then the Eagles got the benefit of a controversial refereeing decision.

Cameron Jerome hooked the ball over his head and into the net, to send the Carrow Road faithful into a frenzy. However their excitement was short lives as referee Simon Hooper, who was officiating in his first Premier League match, deemed the act dangerous play and disallowed the goal.

New signing Yohan Cabaye sealed the win with virtually the last kick of the game to ensure Palace took all three points from a highly contested game.
