# Scott Dann keen for another victory against Everton

Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann says that his club are keen to extend their run of good form at Goodison Park when they face Everton this evening.

The Eagles have won 3-2 on their previous two visits to Goodison, and Dann says that despite their good record in the fixture, Palace are well aware that they’ll face a tough challenge.

Speaking to the [Croydon Advertiser](https://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/Liverpool-fan-Crystal-Palace-star-Scott-Dann/story-28297848-detail/story.html), Dann said:

> Hopefully we can get a good result up there. We have a good record against them and we’d like to keep it that way, but obviously it’s another year on and they’ll be more determined.

It’s been nine days since Palace hammered Steve McClaren’s Newcastle side 5-1, and while most players and managers would say a rest is most welcome, Dann suggested that the long break may have an adverse effect by halting the feel-good factor around the squad.

> You want to play as soon as you can really after a big win. We need to make sure we keep ourselves on that level.

However, the 28-year-old, who grew up on Merseyside as a Liverpool supporter, thinks that Palace are more than capable of winning at Goodison for the third year in a row if they can match the level of performance that they put in during the Newcastle game.

> We need to be on our game and if we do that, like we did against Newcastle, we can score more goals.
