# Palace star plays down exit talk

Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak has dismissed speculation that he could exit the club in January and has insisted that he is happy at Selhurst Park.

A mixture of injuries and form have led to a stop-start season for the Australian, but despite links to a move to the Championship, the 31-year-old told the [Surrey Mirror](https://www.surreymirror.co.uk/Crystal-Palace-midfielder-plays-exit-talk/story-28440740-detail/story.html) that he has no intentions of leaving.

> There is no speculation about me going anywhere. I’m here and I’m well and truly involved. If it wasn’t for a couple of niggles a few couple of weeks ago I would have been involved in those games as well. I’m enjoying my time.

Jedinak also spoke about the future for the club and said that Palace will look to build on an excellent start to the season, one that sees them enter 2016 sitting in 5th place in the Premier League table.

> We’ve got to this point, I’ve been a part of it and it’s been really enjoyable and hopefully the club can keep pushing on, as they have done and I’m sure as they will continue to do.

The Eagles’ next game is a home time against a Chelsea side that is low in confidence, despite a change of manager, and with Tottenham facing a difficult trip to Everton on the same day, there is a huge opportunity for Palace to end the weekend just one point away from the Champions League places.
