# Eagles linked with move for Scandinavian star

Crystal Palace are one of three Premier League sides interested in signing striker Martin Braithwaite from Toulouse, according to a report from [Simon Jones of the Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3469321/West-Ham-Crystal-Palace-watching-Toulouse-forward-Martin-Braithwaite.html).

As reported by Jones, the Eagles as well as Sunderland, West Ham and Championship side Hull City are all keeping tabs on the Danish international as he is yet to sign a new deal with the French side and his contract expires in the summer of 2017.

If he hasn’t signed an extension by the summer, Toulouse could sell him for around £4million as they would not want to risk losing him on a free.

Braithwaite, who has 12 caps for Denmark, recently admitted that he would like to make a move to England, so it’ll be interesting to see which side he does end up joining.

Crystal Palace are said to be in the market for a striker in the summer, which may indicate possible sales of Fraizer Campbell and Dwight Gayle and with a decision needing to be made regarding the future of Emmanuel Adebayor, it makes sense for the Eagles to be looking at forwards.
