# Six Palace players set for summer exits

Crystal Palace striker Marouane Chamakh is set for a return to his former club Bordeaux in the summer, according to a report by [Darren Witcoop of The Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/crystal-palaces-marouane-chamakh-set-7777385), and he is one of six players who’ll be allowed to leave Palace this summer.

Chamakh left Les Girondins to join Arsenal on a free transfer back in 2006 and ten years later, it looks like he’ll be making a return to the French side.

The 32-year-old had a very good goalscoring record in France but failed to follow that up in England with either Arsenal, West Ham or Crystal Palace and with his contract expected to expire in the summer, he looks certain to leave Selhurst Park.

The Morrocan has once again had another campaign plagued by injuries and has only managed 12 appearances all season, and he hasn’t scored a single goal in those games.

According to the report, five other players – Fraizer Campbell, Brede Hangeland Adrian Mariappa, Alex McCarthy and Jordon Mutch are also expected to leave the club as Alan Pardew looks to revamp his squad.
