# Crystal Palace and Chelsea in showing interest in midfielder

Crystal Palace and Chelsea have both shown an interest in signing Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro from Juventus, according to [reports in Italy](https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/serie-a/juventus-sturaro-nel-mirino-di-chelsea-e-crystal-palace-845218).

The 23-year-old has apparently been on Alan Pardew’s radar since the winter but with Antonio Conte arriving at Stamford Bridge, there is apparently a possibility that he could look to sign his fellow countryman.

Sturaro is currently at Euro 2016 with Italy, under the management of Conte, so any deal to take him to either club will be unlikely to take place until his side are no longer competing in the tournament.

Reports indicate that Juventus would be inclined to sell Sturaro for £20million, so it remains to be seen if either side makes a bid of anywhere close to that figure.

Sturaro only made 19 appearances in the league for Juventus last year, eight of which came from the bench, so it would not be a huge shock if he looks to move to get more regular playing time.
